We do provide test translations. However, test translations have limitations in terms of word length and language combinations. We recommend pilot projects instead. Pilot projects can have a sizable length, can include several language combinations, allow us to allot the same time and resources for the project as we would normally, and thus can adequately demonstrate the quality of our work.

Yes, we use freelance translators with at least 5 years of translating experience. The translators are evaluated on a regular basis to ensure that quality is maintained.
We understand that being bilingual or knowing a foreign language doesn’t necessarily mean that the individual can translate. We recruit only translators with 5+ years of translating experience and who have received formal translation training. The translators are tested in their areas of expertise before they come on board. Their work is evaluated on a regular basis thereafter to ensure that quality is maintained.
Generally a translator can translate from 1,500 to 2,000 words per day. This may vary depending on the nature of source content and the language combination. However, the turnaround time can be adjusted to meet the client requirements. For example, multiple translators and a single proofreader can work on a project simultaneously to accelerate the turnaround time while maintaining consistency.
The translation charges depend on the language combination, volume, complexity of source content, nature of source files and required turnaround time. Translation services are usually charged on a per word basis. However, there will be a minimum charge for very small projects. We do not charge per page or per file.

If a project is cancelled after it has been approved, cancellation charges will apply. Generally, if the translator has not started working on the files, the minimum charge for that language combination shall apply. If the translator has started working on the files, the number of words that have been translated will be charged (minimum charge wherever applicable). This could vary depending on the services requested as part of the project. Please contact us to find out about cancellation charges for your specific project.
The turnaround time for translation depends on the nature of the source content and the language combination. If the delivery is requested faster than the general turnaround time, a rush charge will be included. Rush charges vary depending on the volume, nature of source content, language combination and turnaround time.

To create an accurate quote we need information such as the source language, target language, required services, expected deadline and the source file to be translated.
Once you submit a request, we will get in touch with you within an hour.
If you are ready to approve the quote and give a go ahead, you can just reply to the quotation email confirming that you have approved the quote and would like us to proceed with the project. We will get in touch with you confirming that we have received the go-ahead.
When we receive a go-ahead, a Project Manager will be assigned for the project. You can contact the Project Manager for any project related questions.
Extra charges shall be applied for changes to the source text after we have received a go-ahead. The charges will vary depending on the extent of changes.
